About Me
When asked why I became a massage therapist, I respond, “my mom’s feet.” My mother would come home after long days of working at Mervyn’s and I would massage her feet. As I watched her relax, I decided that doing that kind of healing work not only made others happy, it brought joy into my life as well. I decided I wanted to devote my life to becoming a healer.
I went to Silicon Valley College in Emeryville, CA where I earned my 500 hour massage certification in the summer of 2004. I then worked for nine years at a well-known massage chain. I continued to take classes at the Healing Art Institute in Citrus Heights, CA. In 2010, I received my CAMTC (California Massage Therapy Council) certification.
I have now taken over Massage by Dre, a business started by a colleague here on J Street, and am building my own practice.
I also speak fluent Spanish.
